This single story 18,000 square foot Halfway House is wrapped with a two-story 4,500 square foot porch, along with a 12,000 square foot Office Facility and a 5,500 square foot renovation. The work consisted of the construction of a new office building, a new halfway house and renovation of an existing halfway house and includes demolition of existing structures, site demolition and excavation, concrete walks, parking areas and site amenities. Building types of work included cast-in-place concrete foundation, steel frame structure with open web joists and metals decks, composite shingles and standing seam metal roofing, aluminum storefront entrance doors, aluminum windows with insulated glass and clad wood casement windows, fiberglass reinforced column covers and balustrade system, millwork, commercial grade kitchen, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.
Region 8’s new Office Facility provided the company with state of the art amenities that growing organizations require. Region 8’s ability to meet the needs of the state have increased with the construction of the 21 patient Halfway House.
