HOPE Credit Union has selected Thrash Commercial Contractors as it's preferred GC for the construction of a new branch location in Jackson, MS. The project includes the renovation and reuse of a 13,368 SF building that once served as a Luby’s and Fuddruckers restaurant. The project site includes the 1.4 acre lot near the Briarwood exit on Frontage Road.
The new credit union will have two main programmatic components: a financial branch and community outreach space. Community financial institution meets community center is the charge, and by incorporating both types of spaces, HOPE will become an incubator for community engagement.
The new building will help expand member growth and deepen relationships with existing members and community partners. The space will allow HOPE to increase community involvement, strengthen financial education training, and guide members on their economic mobility journey.
